Major Moscow's Attacks Eliminate Power Throughout Ukraine's Capital

Power facilities under attack in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced escalating attacks in recent weeks

Throughout the evening, Russian missile and drone strikes have led to blackouts in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were hurt while residents in eastern neighborhoods were left without electricity and dealt with interruptions to drinking water, as stated by city officials.

Meanwhile, a minor was killed in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, according to area administrators.

Russian forces has increased assaults on power infrastructure over the past few days, while the country's government has demanded "concrete actions" from international partners to increase pressure on Russia.

"What is required is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, the EU and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and implementing penalties," mentioned in a social media post.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty projectiles targeted energy facilities, characterizing such assaults as "premeditated" and against "critical infrastructure" as the weather cools.

The energy minister said Russia was "launching a major assault" and technical staff were working to restore power.

A series of attacks struck energy infrastructure and civilian homes in the capital.

Several of the people injured in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to municipal representatives.

Regional authorities said the city came under significant strikes during nighttime hours. A minor lost their life and three other people were injured.

The assaults follow periods of air raids in the area, parts of which remain under the control of Russian forces.

The entire country is under warning for advanced weapon attacks, which are more difficult to spot.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was intentionally trying to demolish the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting gas facilities.

Officials stated energy workers and government agencies were anticipating further attacks.
